Bengaluru: Candidates who were offered by IT Services Major wipro But not yet onboarded are resorting to social media to get redressal. Freshers admitted a year back are still waiting to be onboarded.
They are reacting and commenting on HR Head Saurabh Govil’s LinkedIn posts and Chairman Rishadpremji’s tweets. One of the posts read, ‘Please plan properly before giving offer letter to freshers. Give offer letters to students if you can get them onboard fast after graduation. ,
Another candidate wrote on a post by Govil that the company should either onboard him or formally inform that Wipro will not take his candidature forward.
Premji’s various tweets have also received comments from these students with the hashtag #WiproOnboardUs2022. Responding to a tweet by Premji, a user asked, “Basic question: When will elite candidates join? Please (do) not give system generated answers.”
Responding to TOI’s query on the matter, the company said, “Wipro can confirm that all offer letters given to eligible candidates will be honored in a phased manner.” ,
