There have been link-up rumors with several of her co-stars. A throwback video of Aamir sees him addressing his link-up with Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla and Pooja Bhatt. Aamir says, “Madhuri saath mera affair hai, yeh aaya hai. I have an affair with Juhi, this has also come. I have proposed marriage to Pooja Bhatt, this has also come. So a lot of cheese has come but I don’t get influenced by cheese. (It has been reported in the media that I had an affair with Madhuri Dixit and then Juhi Chawla. It is also reported that I proposed marriage to Pooja Bhatt, but I am not swayed by these rumours).
Aamir made his debut with Juhi, while he did memorable films with Madhuri and Pooja in ‘Dil’ and ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi’ respectively.
The actor also spoke about the professional controversies surrounding him. He further added, “As far as professional controversies are concerned, abhi abhi mera koi special problem hua nahi hai kisi saath aur ummeed hai hoga bhi nahi. I have had one or two problems with the producer because I had left the film once but nothing major. (I really don’t have any professional disputes with anyone and I hope that I will never have any disputes, except for 1-2 problems, I had with a producer whose film I had left. So, some not too big).
As of now, Aamir has taken at least a year long break from films after the release of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The actor said that when he is working, he gets so involved in a film that he is unable to pay attention to anything or anyone else. Hence, he wants to take out some time to spend with his family, especially his kids.
