If you're a huge Britney Spears fan, an upcoming Broadway show might be just the ticket.
On June 1st, the wide Broadway premiere of Once Upon a One More Time is set to take place.
This jukebox musical will feature Grammy-winning artist's songs and have previews beginning on May 20th, 2023.
Tony award-winning producers James Nederlander and Hunter Arnold announce the news on Spears' 41st birthday.
The musical meshes songs like "Oops! I Did It Again," "Lucky," "Circus," and "Toxic" to help tell the story of a regular book club meeting between classic fairy-tale and storybook characters.
However, something changes after a rogue fairy godmother introduces the group to The Feminine Mystique: Women in the Workforce in the 1950s.
Spears announced through MEDIA, "I'm so excited to have a musical with my songs – especially one that takes place in such a magical world filled with characters that I grew up on, who I love and adore.
"This is such an honor!" exclaimed the debut cast member. The production first premiered at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C and has played there from November to January.
Now that Britney's conservatorship has been terminated and she is in full control of her life, there have been a number of projects in the recent months and years that highlight her career.
"Once Upon a One More Time" marks the latest production to come out since the release of her last album.
Britney Spears released her highest-charting single in the US for 10 years with the release of "Hold Me Closer " her duet with Elton John.
Tickets for the Spears musical will go on sale on Monday, so fans can get them now before they sell out.
