Addressing this momentous day in her life, digital content creator and model Alana said, “I am very happy, nervous and excited at the same time. I have known and loved Ivor for a long time and I feel blessed to be surrounded by so much love on my special day. While her contemporaries are taking time to get married, how did Alana choose to settle down so quickly? “Ivor and I are in love and felt it was the right thing to do,” she says.
Alana, daughter of Chikki (Chunky Pandey’s brother) and Dean Pandey is the first of her cousins to get married, Alana said the ceremony made everyone emotional. “All my cousins Ananya, Risa (Ananya’s sister) and my brother Ahaan are really excited for my wedding because my family has approved Ivor. My parents are very emotional. My mother has been very active in planning our wedding and even prior to the proposal. I feel blessed to have received so much love.
While the family is wearing coordinated outfits, Alana made an effort to add a bit of sentiment to her wardrobe. “I’ll wear one of my grandmother’s bangles that she left me for a function,” she explains.
Talking about the wedding theme, Alana enthusiastically said, “The wedding is inspired by a forest theme that will reflect the resilience of nature. The decor will include birds in flight, a soothing water element, forest sounds, and a customized scent to evoke the scent of the earth. We hope that this sensory experience will be something that will stay with the guests forever. After the pandemic, we all need a lot of peace and a closer connection with Mother Earth, and that’s what the decorations represent.
