Copenhagen: DenmarkUkraine’s government said on Wednesday it would set up a 7 billion Danish crown ($1.01 billion) fund for military, civilian and commercial aid to Ukraine this year.
The fund, agreed with the broad majority of parties in parliament, would direct 5.4 billion crowns to military aid, 1.2 billion to civilian aid and 0.4 billion to efforts to rebuild Ukraine by Danish companies.
“This is largely a reflection of Ukraine’s wishes, which, in addition to military and humanitarian aid, is now also about reconstruction,” Danish Foreign Minister Lars Loke Rasmussen told reporters.
