‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkar’ started with a positive opening on the occasion of Holi but it soon went down in the later days. However, the weekend has brought good respite for the film, which witnessed a marginal growth on Saturday.
Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkar’ didn’t see a huge jump but earned Rs 13.50 crore, reports BoxofficeIndia. This number is very close to its first day collection of Rs 14 crore. Currently, the film stands at a total collection of around Rs 45 crore. The film has performed well in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Rajasthan, Gujarat and CI circuits. Going by the current trend, ‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkar’ is expected to collect close to Rs 60 crore nett at the end of its five-day extended weekend.

Shraddha made a comeback on the big screen after a gap of almost three years with ‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkar’. Talking about the same, the actress told IANS, “It was because of Covid. Theaters were closed and at that time ‘Baaghi 3’ was running in the cinema hall and then they were closed. After that, I was supposed to start shooting for Tu Jhootha Main Makkar immediately and then of course the lockdown happened and that too got delayed. So it wasn’t that I would take such a long gap, it just happened.”
