After the haldi celebrations, which soon turned into a Holi party, Swara and Fahadh’s mehendi ceremony took place. The actress had promised popular celebrity artist Veena Nagda years ago that she would invite her for her mehendi rituals and kept it. Veena Nagda, who has officiated Mehndi in celebrity weddings like Vicky-Katrina and Deepika-Ranveer, shared interesting details about Swara’s Mehendi ceremony.
“Swara Bhaskar sat patiently while the mehendi was applied for three hours and she was very particular about the designs. She only wanted intricate mehandi and that is what we gave her. His bridal mehendi covered entire hands and feet, for which he had to sit for a long time. She even got Fahadh’s name written on her hand in Hindi in mehendi,” revealed Veena Nagda.
Swara’s husband Fahadh also got Shagun’s mehndi applied, Veena Nagda said, “Fahadh had said that he is not a fan of mehndi, but Swara made sure he applied a little bit of mehndi. He got Swara’s name in Hindi on his right palm.” Got a heart with name written on it.
Interestingly, he had asked the popular Bollywood actor whether the mehendi would last till March 19. While Veena Nagda confirmed that henna will not be missing… it remains to be seen what the couple has planned for that date.
