Naatu Naatu, a song from RRR, created history as the first Indian film to receive the coveted accolade. The track was recognized with a Golden Globe and an Oscar, as well as several accolades from Hollywood.
On bringing home the Oscar trophy, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Kaal Bhairav, SS Karthikeya, Ram Rajamouli and their family members returned to Hyderabad, where they were warmly received at the airport. Fans flocked to catch a glimpse of the RRR team that made the entire nation proud.

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, is a work of fiction set in a historical period and revolves around the lives of two Telugu revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr. NTR play the roles of two revolutionaries respectively, while the film also stars an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani in prominent roles.
