To celebrate the efforts and dedication of the delivery personnel, PVR and INOX organized a special screening of Zwigato in Mumbai and Delhi. Kapil Sharma also joined them to film in Mumbai and made the experience even more special. Zvigato got a huge stamp of approval from real-life delivery people because it brings people’s struggles into the public eye without sugarcoating reality.
Several delivery boys were amazed by the comedian’s act, praising him for the versatility he displayed as Manas, a delivery boy working with a food aggregator and delivery platform called Zvigato. The event ended with the guests clicking pictures with their new idol Kapil Sharma.
Commenting on the response received for the film, Gautam Dutta, Co-CEO, PVR said, “I completely agree with the reviews of the film from the audiences and the audience to be bombastic with its portrayal of the impact of pandemic layoffs on people , especially the middle class and lower middle class. Hats off to Nandita Das for delivering yet another heartwarming and impactful film and to Kapil Sharma for his versatility. We were thrilled to host a special screening of Zwigato for delivery workers, as we’re confident the film will resonate with them. The guests’ response to the program and the film was thrilling and we are glad they enjoyed the experience. The film is doing exceptionally well at the box office as per the ticket sales and will do well in the coming weeks considering the positive audience response.
