Sharing a still from his 2016 Kapoor & Sons song Kar Gayi Chul, Sidharth tagged Alia and wrote on his Instagram stories, “Happy birthday Alia! Have a great year ahead, lots of love and hugs.” Kiara Advani, on the other hand, reshared an Instagram post of Alia on her stories and wrote, “Happy birthday. Keep shining.”
Returning Sidharth’s birthday wish, Alia replied, “Thank you thank you (heart emoji)”. She also replied to Kiara saying, “Thank you lovely Kiara (heart emoji).”
Siddharth and Alia were dating each other when they were shooting for Kapoor & Sons. However, their relationship was short-lived. Aaliya went through a major heartbreak but with time, she pulled herself together again.
In 2019, Alia had spoken about her equation with Sidharth and said that they both have moved on in life post their breakup. She said that there are no bad vibes and she has a lot of love and respect for him. He had further said that it is definitely possible to remain friends with the ex if they can come to terms and don’t take things to their heart.
Alia married Ranbir in April last year after dating for 5 years. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Raha, in November last year. Sidharth, on the other hand, fell in love with Kiara on the sets of Shershaah and they tied the knot earlier this year.
