Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) during a raid in connection with the alleged drug seizure on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. The 25-year-old spent 25 days in jail before being granted bail by the Bombay High Court. Later in 2022, NCB gave a clean chit to Aryan.
Talking about the same, Vivek told Oncut FM Canada, “I think he didn’t want to escalate it (the issue), he didn’t open his mouth, neither did Aryan, Gauri or Suhana, take it with grace and called dignity.”
After Aryan’s release, Shah Rukh refrained from interacting with the media and stayed away from talking about his son’s arrest in any public forum. He also took to social media to promote his much-anticipated film Pathan and interacted with the media only once after the film’s release.
During the press meet to celebrate Pathan’s success, Shah Rukh had said, “It is an experience that is yet to sink in. Maybe we will be more grateful to God. At times we had to call people so that they release them.” Filmed easily and he did. I want my films to be released with love.
Meanwhile, Aryan is all set to make his debut in the film industry as a screenwriter. His sister Suhana Khan is also gearing up for the release of her debut film The Archies. On the other hand, Shahrukh is busy shooting for his upcoming film Jawan Aur Danki these days.
