Responding to these allegations, Satish Kaushik’s wife Shashi said that her husband was in Delhi to attend Holi party and the allegations of financial transactions are baseless. Defending the businessman, he told ABP News that Satish Kaushik and the businessman were good friends and would never fight. She also said that the businessman himself is very rich and will not need money from her husband. Shashi Kaushik said that the post-mortem report has confirmed that the late actor had 98% blockage and there was no drug in his sample. Questioning the woman’s motive, Shashi told the news channel, “The police have verified everything, I don’t understand how she is claiming that she was drugged and murdered.” I don’t understand why she is trying to defame my husband after he passed away.She has some agenda maybe because she wants money from her husband and she is now involving Satish ji . I request them please don’t play such kind of games. I have no doubt in this matter so no further investigation should be done in this.’ My husband always used to ask me whether he had done such huge financial transactions. I think it is very wrong that such things are happening after his death.”
The woman in question, on her part, clarified that she was agreeable to talks between her husband and the late actor and that the argument was over a payment of Rs 15 crore.
