Such was the rapport between Kaushik and Salman that they always spoke highly of each other. Salman had gone to Kaushik’s residence yesterday to pay his last respects. And the audience revealed that after arrival, Salman met Kaushik’s family and then quietly walked out of his apartment and waited patiently in a corner, looking very emotional.
When ETimes spoke to Satish Kaushik’s good friend actor-filmmaker Karan Razdan, he revealed, “Satish in his heart always wanted to make Tere Naam 2 with Salman Khan. He didn’t talk much about it but He was very appreciative of Salman, as he had helped Satish a lot during paper making as well.”
Not only this, Kaushik was also planning a film with his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Amitabh Bachchan. Razdan revealed, “I think he was planning a film with Amitabh Bachchan, at least that was in his mind. He was planning a film with Neena Gupta, which he later Canceled due to political environment. He told me that he was planning something big with Amit ji. Don’t know to what point it has reached.’
ETimes wondered whether Satish Kaushik, a prolific writer-director has started work on the project. Razdan said, “He talked to me a little bit about Amitji’s film in the last few months. But I could not ask him what stage his plans have reached.”
