Satish Kaushik passes away: The late actor-director was seen grooving to Sonu Nigam’s songs, performed live at a family wedding: Watch video | hindi movie news – Usky News

Actor-writer-director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 on March 9 in Gurugram. After the postmortem, his body will be brought to Mumbai.

Just a week ago, the actor was seen dancing his heart out at a family wedding where singer Sonu Nigam was performing. Sharing a video of the same, Satish wrote, “It was great to be a part of the audience to watch super star singer @sonunigamofficial singing with unbeatable energy for hours at a family wedding. The best part was his “Ohho” But I had to dance, come, come, come.

Just two days back, the veteran celebrity was celebrating Holi at Javed Akhtar’s house along with Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal, Mahima Chaudhary and many others. The now late actor took to his Twitter handle and tweeted some pictures from the celebration and said, “Colorful Happy Fun #Holi Party at Janki Kutir Juhu @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi.. Newly married beautiful couple @alifazal9 met @Richa Chadha.. Happy holi to all His last conversation with the media that day is now going viral.

Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956. His breakout role was that of the character Calendar in Shekhar Kapur’s Mr. India. He had also made an impact with early releases like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Mandi and Woh 7 Din.

Kaushik made his directorial debut with Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. Tere Naam and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain are some of his popular films as a director.
