Salman and Sooraj have been discussing a film for a while now and as per a report in Pinkvilla, the film is at a stage where it might go on floors in November or December this year. The film is titled ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’ and with it Barjatya wants to celebrate love against the backdrop of nuclear families. It is also said to be one of the most exclusive themes that Barjatya has developed till date.
Furthermore, the makers are eyeing Diwali 2024 to release the film. The director is still on the lookout for a suitable actress for the film. It is said that this time, the entire conflict of the film revolves around the life of a married couple with strong family values. The report further states that apart from this, Khan is being offered several projects from Karan Johar’s banner, producer Dil Raju, Aamir Khan’s production house. But the actor will be considering most of his upcoming projects to decide which film to plan for an Eid 2024 release.
Interestingly, Sooraj dropped the name ‘Prem’ and broke his own stereotype for ‘height’. Salman also wanted to be a part of that film but Barjatya felt that he wanted to cast other actors to make his film more authentic and believable.
This year, Khan has two releases in line – Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on Eid 2023 while ‘Tiger 3’ will release in Diwali.
