‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is all set to release this Friday and people who have seen the film cannot stop raving about Rani Mukerji’s performance in it. Karan Johar called it his best performance till date. Now veteran actress Rekha saw the film and found it heart-wrenching.
After watching the film last night, Rekha felt, “Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, exhilarating and heart wrenching, had me on the edge of my seat from the start. It was an absolute delight to watch the dynamic performance.” A mother’s ‘Bengal Tigress’ fights with her life for her children. This film is for the world to see what ‘Mother India’ is! This time Rani has outdone herself in the role of the eternal mother… The faces of Durga Maa… The ultimate ‘Mother’, an intense performance worth watching umpteen times! She walks with fire, straight into our hearts! What a delight to watch actor and character melt into each other! I would also like to congratulate the entire cast and crew especially the director, who was on point and beyond! A special mention to Jim Sarbh for his flawless and constrained performance! Extremely grateful and proud to watch this brave film that reinforces the fact that there is nothing more powerful than a ‘Mother’ ‘maybe’!”

Rani will be seen on screen after ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’. ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ is based on the life of Sagarika Bhattacharya, who fought against the Norwegian government for the custody of her children. Rani had revealed that she cast her mother Krishna Mukherjee in Mrs. Chatterjee as she could portray her mother only after reading the script.
