Rani Mukerji is gearing up for the release of her film ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ and hence has been seen quite often lately. The actress was spotted with Kareena Kapoor Khan at Mehboob Studio, where they posed together for the paparazzi. While Kareena wore a black shirt and pants, Rani wore an easy summer outfit with a pair of sunglasses and both the girls looked drop dead gorgeous! Both shot for Kareena’s show ‘What Women Want’.
Posing for the paparazzi with Kareena, Rani said, “Meri jaan hai”.

Both the actresses shared screen space in ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’ which also starred Hrithik Roshan. The two have always shared a good bonding with each other as the actresses have appeared together on ‘Koffee With Karan’ once.
‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’ is based on the true story of a mother whose children were taken away from her by the Norwegian government. The film depicts her struggle to get her children back. Interestingly, Rani had never met Sagarika Chatterjee, whose life is depicted in the film. When Sagarika saw the film, she got very emotional and felt that she was living it again. Rani met Sagarika for the first time yesterday at an event in the city and it was a surprise for her. The actress was very emotional to meet the real-life Mrs Chatterjee.

Rani said that she did not meet Sagarika because she wanted to do her own cinematic interpretation of the character, just by getting the emotional chord right. Karan Johar hosted the event as he said that Rani had done him a favor by accepting ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ when all other actresses had rejected the film.

The film is produced by Nikhil Advani, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. Rani also addressed the rumors that she does not do any film outside her husband Aditya Chopra’s banner. The actress responded to that and laughed saying, “My husband works with many other actresses so I can work with other producers as well.”
