Ram Gopal Varma obtained civil engineering degree after 37 years. telugu movie news – Usky News



Noted filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has obtained an engineering degree 37 years after completing his BTech from Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur.
RGV, as the filmmaker is popularly known, took to Twitter to share the picture of his degree certificate as well as his excitement.

He tweeted, “Super thrilled to receive my BTech degree today after 37 years which I never took in 1985 as I was not interested in practicing civil engineering.” For this, he thanked the university.

The Director passed B.Tech (Civil Engineering) with second division in the examination held in July 1985.

RGV also shared a picture with university professors and wrote: “Uneducated me with highly educated professors of Acharya Nagarjuna University.”

He said, “I told the Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Raja Shekhar Garu that I do not deserve this honour, but he insisted that I do.”

“Prof.Rajasekhara Garu..I usually feel terrible to be honoured..but this time I am really honored to be on such an esteemed occasion with such esteemed people,” wrote RGV.

Sharing another picture taken while addressing the gathering, the director wrote- “Acharya Nagarjuna was trying to spoil the students and scholars of the university but they spoiled me.”

The 60-year-old made his debut in the Telugu film industry in 1989 with the crime thriller Siva.
