The actress, who remained tight-lipped about her big look for the night, took to her social media handle to release pictures of her glamorous avatar for her Oscars red carpet debut. Channeling Old Hollywood glamour, the actress rocked a plunging and elegant black gown, which she paired with velvet gloves and a statement diamond necklace.
With her hair tied in a neat bun, the actress also showed off what appears to be her new tattoo.

This is the first time that Deepika will walk the Oscars red carpet and be present at the award show.
The Bollywood star will join the long list of stars who will be presenting the Academy Awards. She will join a host of Hollywood stars including Pedro Pascal, Kate Hudson, Harrison Ford, Halle Berry, Paul Dano, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, Eva Longoria, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Olsen and John Travolta.
Apart from DP, SS Rajamouli and ‘RRR’ cast are all set to attend the award show. Producer Guneet Monga and director Shaunak Sen will also join familiar faces as their documentaries ‘The Elephant Whispers’ and ‘All That Breathes’ eye the Oscars in the Best Documentary Short and Best Documentary categories.
The annual award show will be held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California. Fans can tune in to Disney+Hotstar to watch the live action at 5.30 AM IST.
