Natu Natu and The Elephant Whispers win big at the Oscars, Alia Bhatt showers love, Deepika as ‘beauty making India proud’ hindi movie news – Usky News


It’s a historic day for the country as MM Keeravani and Chandrabose’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film RRR has become the first Indian song from a Telugu production to win an Academy Award in ‘Best Original Song’ at the 95th Academy Awards. Not just that, the country has been hit with a double whammy, The Elephant Whispers, directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga, has won the Best Documentary Short Film award.

Alia Bhatt, who plays a pivotal role in RRR, took to her IG stories to show her appreciation for both the films. Posting a picture of Guneet Monga holding the trophy, Alia wrote, “Uff what a sight! Historic! Congratulations Guneet Monga and the entire team @theelephantwhisperers.” In the second and third picture, he celebrated the big win of Natu Natu by sharing a few pictures with celebratory smileys. Lastly, sharing a picture of Deepika at the Oscars, Alia posted some heart emojis along with, “This beauty is making India proud and how.”

Talking about The Elephant Whispers, Guneet Monga wrote on her IG handle, “Tonight is historic as it is the first Oscars for an Indian production. Glory of India with 2 women, for all the women watching. … The future is daring and the future is here. Let’s go!”

On the other hand, NTR Jr who starred in Naatu Naatu said, “I am at a loss of words to express my excitement right now. This is a victory not just for RRR but for India as a country. My Believe this is just the beginning. Showing us how far Indian cinema can go. Congratulations to Keeravani Garu and Chandra Bose. Certainly this would not have been possible without a master storyteller named Rajamouli and the audience who Would have showered us with all the love.”
