The press screening of ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ at PVR (Juhu) is over and we meet the film’s producer Monisha Advani. Monisha was stunned by Rani’s performance. She has given it her all. This is the performance.”
Talking about the film, Rani had said, “I told Nikhil (Advani) that he would not be able to deal with my tantrums. But Nikhil agreed to all my conditions and didn’t give me a chance to say ‘no’ . the film.” Talking about the film’s director Ashima Chhibber, Rani had said, “When I spoke to Ashima, I realized she was very passionate about the story as she talked to Sagarika and she was very keen on the subject. Was attached. That love turns into a movie.” ,

Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani under Emme Entertainment and Zee Studios.
The film is based on the true story of NRI couple Sagarika Bhattacharya and Anujan Bhattacharya.
Rani recently spoke about her role to Karan Johar and Nikkhil Advani at an event of the film, “As an actor, I wanted to bring my own interpretation to the character. My role and the real person. Ashima has Sagarika. Several tapes were recorded, and I had seen her for some references, but the rest of the character is actually based on my mother. She is the most Bengali person I know… whether she is feeding us from her hands From, us tika laga..I took strength and inspiration from my mother.”
