McDonald’s has started testing its first robot restaurant in Texas, USA. As Newsweek reports, the restaurant is fully automated and there is no human interaction to order and pick up your food. A video of a fully automated McDonald’s is going viral on the internet.
The video shows that customers can place an order using an automated screen and collect it through a machine. The restaurant is outside Fort Worth, Texas and has an “Order Forward Lane”. In this, customers receive food via a conveyor belt, kiosks for ordering to go, and pick-up shelves for food as specified by the New York Post.
