Recently Masaba Gupta, whose mother Neena Gupta was one of Satish Kaushik’s closest friends, shared a priceless throwback collage. The collage had monochrome pictures of a very young Nina, Satish and Anupam Kher, who studied together at NSD (National School of Drama). Fans took to the comments section to shower love on the picture and many said that they were heartbroken to know that the trio would never be seen together again.
Yesterday, Masaba took to her IG handle to share another throwback picture of mom Nina and Satish Kaushik, writing, “Rest in peace Kaushik uncle – you gave mom the greatest gift… your kindness all those years ago – you Will be missed.”
As stated earlier, Nina and Satish share a great bond with Satish even offering to marry Nina when she throws Masaba out of wedlock. He remembered telling her, ‘I am not, why do you worry‘ and suggested that if the baby was born brown (like dad Viv Richards), they would pass it off as their own baby and no one would know anything.
The actor was cremated yesterday, with his friends and family bidding him a tearful farewell.
