“I love being called a sex symbol. I don’t mind being a sex symbol. I would rather be known as a sex symbol than a Plain Jane. I am very happy and I love that tag (sex symbol),” Malaika said at the India Today Conclave 2023.
She further added that she is more than just a few item songs, a pretty face and a great body. He said that staying relevant in the industry for more than 30 years is not easy just by good looks. She is happy that she is not a par excellence actress but still a part of the industry where she gets all the love and respect that any actress gets.
Malaika also talked about living with her insecurities every day. She said that it is very difficult for her to stay focused or to be in a place where she behaves in such a way that she doesn’t get it.
“But I have to keep my head above water because I know every day that’s probably going to get pushed in my face. And, you know, ‘single mom’. ‘Divorced’, I’m not gonna jump in but throw it It’s been in my face every single day. So, for me, it’s very hard to be above the game. It’s probably the insecurities that I have to deal with on a daily basis.
