Satish Kaushik died of a heart attack on 8 March. He was 66 years old. According to reports, his body will be brought to Mumbai after postmortem.

I remember watching him on screen as ‘Calendar’ in ‘Mr India’ and loving him. He was also happy that he was playing the role of Chintuji’s (Rishi Kapoor) friend in ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’. He had such a happy and mischievous presence on screen. May his soul rest in peace”, Juhi said.
Satish and Juhi had also worked together in David Dhawan’s ‘Deewana Mastana’. The late actor’s character ‘Pappu Pager’ in the film is one of the actor’s favorite characters.
