Yesterday, there were several reports suggesting that Ishaan Khatter starrer ‘Pippa’ is releasing on OTT, stating that the makers of the film are having issues with multiplex owners. But today an official statement has been issued in this regard. The makers have denied all such rumours.
Kamal Gianchandani of PVR Inox along with producer Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur, who also represents the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), have issued a statement. It read, “RSVP and Roy Kapur Films have no issues with multiplex operators. Any rumor or article that suggests otherwise is baseless and baseless. We are all committed to bringing quality content to audiences in cinemas across India.” Pippa is a film. It is made for the big screen and an official announcement regarding the release date will be made soon.”

‘Pippa’ is based on a true story and is a biopic on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Ishaan plays her in the film, which revolves around the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
The film is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan apart from Ishaan. AR Rahman has composed the music of the film. According to the official statement, the release date of the film will be announced soon.
