It was indeed a historic moment as India won two Oscars this year. While ‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won in the ‘Best Original Song’ category, ‘The Elephant Whispers’ bagged an Oscar in the ‘Best Documentary Short Film’ category. Producer Guneet Monga and director Karthik Gonsalves received the award for ‘The Elephant Whispers’ and made India proud as it is the first Oscar for an Indian production.
Now that they are back in Mumbai, Huma Qureshi took the Oscar in her hand and kissed it. He dedicated it to Aram Nagar. Guneet has a double celebration – the Oscars and the third month anniversary. In a video, the producer dedicated his award to 1.4 billion Indians and said that we all made it happen together.
