Guneet Monga types out her Oscar speech: To all the women watching… the future is audacious and the future is here. let’s go! , hindi movie news – Usky News



‘The Elephant Whispers’ emerged as the winner at the 95th Academy Awards, making it the first win for India in the documentary short subject category. Directed by Kartiki Gonsalves, the Netflix documentary bestows ‘Hallout’, ‘How Do You Measure a Year?’, ‘The Martha Mitchell Effect’ and ‘Stranger at the Gate’.
As soon as it was her turn to take the mic on the stage as the music started playing, Guneet shared her speech with her fans on her Instagram handle. He also shared a picture of himself and his team holding the coveted trophy on the stage of the 95th Academy Awards.

He wrote, ‘Tonight is historic as it is the first Oscar for an Indian production India’s Glory with 2 women. Thank you mom dad guruji shukrana. ‘The Elephant Whispers’ depicts an unbreakable bond between two abandoned elephants and their caretakers. It is produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain of Sikh Entertainment.
Earlier, two entries set in India – “Smile Pinky” and “Period. End of Sentence”, won the Oscar for Documentary Short. Monga was the executive producer of “Period”.
