In a recent interview to a news portal, the director dismissed the ‘comeback film’ tag for ‘Hera Pheri 3’. According to him, the memes made on social media kept the film alive. He also said that such films are never forgotten.
Though Farhad has established his command over his craft in the past, fans of the franchise have expressed concerns about the new addition, given that the previous editions were helmed by Priyadarshan and the late Neeraj Vohra. Talking about the same, Farhad said that the official announcement of him turning as director is yet to come. The director said that when it happens, he will talk about it.
A video of Akshay shooting with Paresh and Sunil surfaced online but it was later clarified that they had only shot for the film’s promos.
In a recent social media post, Suniel Shetty also spoke about the film. He wrote, ‘So Hera Pheri 3 is finally happening! Can’t wait to be back on the sets with Pareshji and Akki (Akshay). Like all good things, it took some time, but it’s a relief to finally have the answer!’
“Movies are such a huge part of our culture, and yet, many people don’t understand what goes into making a movie,” he said. Apart from the creative challenges, the business model and requirements of the film business make it as challenging as any other business.
