Satish Kaushik, who won the hearts of the audience with some memorable characters like Calendar in ‘Mr India’ and Pappu Pager in ‘Deewana Mastana’, passed away this morning. He was 66 and had suffered a heart attack. While the industry is mourning their loss, Satish was very close to some of them.
Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik have been friends for over 40 years. Anil and Satish have worked together in several films like ‘Woh 7 Din’, ‘Mr India’ and Kaushik has also directed the actor in ‘Mr Bechara’ and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’. In a heartwarming post, Anil wrote, “The stalwarts of the industry have lost their hardy…Three Musketeers has lost one of the most talented, generous and loving musketeers and I have lost my younger brother lost…gone too soon…i love you satish ♥️@@anupam kher”

Anupam had revealed this morning that Anil is traveling abroad and was surprised when he called him. He further added that all three of them have such a good bond that if two of these actors meet, they make fun of the third one.
The mortal remains of Satish Kaushik will be brought from Delhi as the actor passed away in Gurugram. His last rites will be held at 5 pm in Mumbai. Many of his friends have started reaching his house in Andheri.
