Speaking exclusively to ETimes, Senior Police Inspector (Wakad) Satyawan Mane said, ‘Madhu Markandeya used to work as a cake maker. On Sunday, Madhu and his friend had gone to rent a room to expand their business. Madhu suddenly fell due to dizziness. Her friend took Madhu to a private hospital. But, he was asked to be taken to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital. We have registered an ‘Accidental Death Report’ (ADR) and further investigation is underway.”
It has been further said in the reports that the relatives of Madhu have expressed the possibility of her being murdered. However, the Wakad police said there were no serious injuries on his body and registered a sudden death. Wakad police is doing further investigation.
