“The whole last year went into Chakda’s shoot. I would finish shooting and I would have only enough time to spend time with my daughter, feed her dinner and follow her night routine and take care of her. Go to bed soon after.” I don’t think I’ve got time to do anything else. I am okay with doing more films, but only if it is worth taking my time and if it makes sense. I don’t want to do films just to be in the game – I am very clear about that. It has to be made into a film like Chakda,” Anushka told Grazia India.
The actress also spoke about how she does everything for Vamika. She also revealed that her darling daughter is ‘turning into a secure person’ as a result. Talking about the same, Anushka said, “It has made me a more confident person internally – I feel I am more confident as a person. It is a very real thing, other human beings taking care of – and putting the child first in everything. I want to mention this – that having this relationship with your child is so important. I’m very practical and I do everything for her, and I want to do that I enjoy myself, so the bond is very special. I feel she is becoming a secure person, and I am happy about that.
‘Chakda Express’ is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film will be released on an OTT platform.
